Yesterday I was wrapping up a report at the office and got this text from my sister:

Y’all know MandySue loves Target collaborations, and you certainly know my love for Lilly Pulitzer. So this is basically a dream come true. I’m not a regular on Instagram but it looked like that’s where most of the news was being posted, so the rest of my night was spent insta-stalking and discussing the 411 in some lilly Facebook groups . For those of you not obsessed with every detail like me here’s some basic info:
What: 250 items in Ladies and kids clothing and accessories, beauty and home goods including beach / patio items.
When: April 19th
Where: target stores nationwide and online
How much: $2 to $150 with 200 items under $30!
Why: IT’S LILLY!!!!!
Based on the pictures I’ve seen from the swanky NYC announcement party this collection looks fab! It reminds me of the Missoni collection in that its staying pretty true to the brand style and offering the iconic look. Here’s a few I grabbed to share.

Of course, the clothes are really cute. And for the first time for a designer collaboration they will be available in plus sizes!
The accessories are really cute too!

These cups even have lilly quotes on the inside, adorable!
So yes , I am pumped and for the most part so is the rest of the lilly community. If you’ve ever been curious about lilly but found the price point too high I really recommend checking this out.
As more news becomes available I’ll be sure to update. For now I plan on chilling outside my Target before it opens on the release date and when it gets closer to the date will probably make some friendly in store inquiries about how much we’re expected to get in Memphis and where the products will be throughout the store.
