A few weeks ago I found out that Kohl’s would be releasing a collection of Cinderella themed clothing to promote the upcoming movie in March. Look how pretty:

So going to see the collection was a top priority this weekend. The collection was set to be released on the 22nd but I think I was available earlier because that blue skirt is already sold out in some sizes.
But don’t worry y’all, I was still able to grab this:
That skirt has a castle and enchanted landscape scene, it’s gorgeous in person.
I’ve wanted a tulle skirt for awhile now but admit that as a plus size girl they make me nervous. I’ve seen lots of plus size girls rocking them though and my desire for this particular skirt overrode my fears, I FEEL like a princess in it! The key it seems to pulling off a tulle skirt is the tucked in top and worn high on the waist. I’m honestly not sure if I’ll wear the sweater with this, I am considering a white button down or blue cotton top as alternatives. Regardless of the top I think my silver heels will be a must for this skirt. I’m obviously wearing this when I go see the movie, I love theme dressing!
