It’s been awhile but I have a $40 date idea for y’all.
Recently Shaun and I attended a Yelp event at Tanoor Grill. It was delicious and we had an awesome time.

In fact, we enjoyed it so much we went on Valentine’s day. Again super yum but stuffing oneself with meat is perhaps not the most romantic activity. Plus eating giant meals before bedtime is not a great idea so our interest was very peaked to check out lunch and a few weeks later we did.
Regardless of the time of day your visit to Tanoor the meal starts with appetizers, which are also unlimited:
Salad
Hummus
Baba ganush
Pita bread
Roasted potatoes
Then the meat parade begins!
Sirloin
Boneless Chicken
Roasted Chicken
Kabob
Stuff Pita
At dinner there is also ribeye, filet and lamb but no stuff pita. But trust me, the lunch meat offerings are plenty! Make sure you request their sauces – garlic, spicy and lemon dill. It’s fun to try the different meats in each and find your favorite combo.
Just when you think you’re about to burst they bring grilled pineapple.
Even if you’re stuff I highly recommend getting at least one piece as its a nice palate cleanser.
Meals include tea – the sweet tea has ginger and honey, so good! Lunch is $14.95 (so with tax and tip $40!!!) and dinner is $29.95. I honestly prefer lunch because it gives me plenty of time to digest all my meat. Plus, I only need a shake or piece of fruit at dinner time.
Everyone at Tanoor is so nice! The ambience is simple but they keep the lights dim and play middle eastern music. I highly recommend grabbing your sweetheart and taking a long lunch this weekend.
