I’m not one for the celebrity culture. I still don’t understand why the Kardashians are famous, I don’t read Us Weekly and I could care less about Brad and Angelina. So, when Stephen Colbert made fun of celebrity lifestyle brands I giggled along sure that I would never be interested in them. But I am a sucker for girly fashion and southern style so when I found myself in Nashville for the week curiosity drove me to the trendy 12 south neighborhood to visit Reese Witherspoon’s store Draper James.

The store itself is beautiful and store associates welcome visitors with a glass of sweet tea. I had viewed the website prior to my visit and had decided I kinda did want something there from the tailgate collection. But I was surprised to find myself interested in other items. The clothing is only available to size 14 so that’s out for me but the accessories and odd and ends were nicer than I expected. I wound up purchasing what I came in for that day but left with a little bit of a wish list. Even though it was super hot out and I didn’t wear a cute, Instagram worthy outfit I did take a picture by the store window.

And by the blue and white striped wall

All the cool kids were doing it.

wound up ordering my wish list items a few weeks later online, check out my fall picks on my YouTube channel:
