This month’s Sephora Play arrived pretty quickly so I was excited to have a chance to give all the products a try before writing this post. This month’s theme is “glow your own way” and most of the products had a glow element to them.
Here’s what was inside:
This moisturizer has illuminating qualities that looks very nice and it smells AMAZING. This is not a product I would have had interest in on my own but I am seriously considering switching to this as my daytime moisturizer.
As you can tell by the Allure Beauty Seal this product is a favorite among beauty gurus. Because my hair lacks so much volume I’m not really a great test candidate on what it can really do but I will say it didn’t give me that stiff, sticky yuck feeling I usually get with hair products so yay for that.
I love benefit products because in addition to being good products the packaging is cute and the names are fun and this highlighter is no exception to this. Since this highlighter has a golden tone to it I’ll be saving it for the summer but I might bust it out for a nighttime look.
I LOVE the color of this eye shadow stick – Golden Pink but found it to be a little darker than the stock photo in real life. I’ve already added this to my makeup bag to become part of my regular routine.
First impression of this finishing balm is that this was the least impressive product in this month’s box. It goes on smooth but I feel like the glam glow moisturizer creates a much better underlying glow. I’ll use this and I’m open to changing my mind but for now – meh.
This month’s perfume is Chloe and it has such a lovely floral scent, I love florals and I would absolutely consider buying a full size bottle.
At first I wasn’t excited about receiving a box with all glowing products but I think this might be the best box yet and contained the most products I would consider for future purchase. Certainly worth the $10 price point.
My Ipsy bag should be arriving soon so I’ll have those product reviews up later this week.
