Victoria Beckham for Target Guesses

April is going to be a big month for fashion in my life! Not only is it Memphis Fashion Week but also the Victoria Beckham for Target collaboration will be released on April 9th. I’m so excited and can’t decide if the other Memphis fashionistas will be excited too so I’m thinking it’s going to be another early morning to get there when the store opens.

While the look book has not yet be released (based on prior collaboration timing it should be released sometime in the next two weeks) I feel like VB is consistent enough that we should have a decent idea of what to expect. VB has already stated that the collection will be similar to her Victoria  Victoria Beckham line early designs.

Here’s a pre 2017 piece currently available on a fashion discount site:

Just based on this and the promo pic alone it looks like VVB sticks to classic pieces with touches of a feminine feel – this is my ultimate closet makeover aesthetic goal hence why I’m VERY excited for this collection.  Based on current trends and VVB styles I’ve seen here’s what I’m hoping to get from this collaboration. These are just my personal speculations, I’ll be sure to do a post with my favorite looks once the look book is released and let y’all know if I was right or not.

Flounce hem dress

I would LOVE to get something like this from the collection and the flounce hem appears in several VVB collections so I feel like this is part of her signature style and it would be a shame if it was not included in the collection.

Waist emphasizing cuts

A lot of VVB items are made to bring focus on the waist which again plays into the feminine classic style. I would expect a few curve hugging pieces and fitted tops. I love the fitted yet flowy look of this particular top and would be sure to grab one if a similar one was at target.

Bell Sleeves

Fun sleeves are so in right now and I see VB really embracing this with both of her collections so I hope she brought this 8into the target collection as well. This is a mass production line though so I wouldn’t expect to see the extreme details like in designer lines but think a bell sleeve or small ruffle would be a way to bring this trend into the target line.

I also expect to see at least one piece that incorporates a bow, work friendly blouses, trousers with a slight flare, simple designed large bags, aviator sunglasses and simple strappy shoes. If my guesses are right I’m going to have a very hard time deciding what to get.
