This month’s Sephora Play box featured some of the top selling Sephora products, here’s what’s inside:
Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
I currently use this primer and it helps my foundation go on smooth and keeps my face from getting too oily during the day. It’s light weight and has no scent and one tube lasts a really long time – I bought mine before my wedding and that was six months ago.
Make Up For Ever Aqua XL eyeliner
The Make Up For Ever brand is very popular at Sephora and very nice quality products. This eyeliner doesn’t smudge and goes on smooth.
Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Cloud Cream
This is a primer / moisturizer combo and I really like the way it feels – very light weight and makes my skin feel silky
Kate Somerville ExfoliKate
This says it’s an “intense exfoliator” but I found it to be very fine. The paste is ather think and a yucky green color with a heavy plant scent, but hey if it works who cares what it looks like.
Sephora Waterproof Eye makeup remover
I personally prefer to use oil as an eye makeup remover but this product doesn’t offend me – in fact I’ve received this sample from Sephora previously and recently took it on a trip. It gets the job done.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Perfume
I know this scent has been out on the market forever but I’ve actually never tried it before so I was excited to receive this sample. The floral scent is nice but not too overpowering, I could see myself wearting this one.
Overall a pretty solid box this month, of course I would expect that when the theme is best sellers. The bag print is also really cute this month. Yay for a good month of beauty subscriptions.
