Oh Mylanta, I can’t believe it’s the 2nd week of August already! July was a crazy busy month so I’m just now getting to share with y’all the July monobox.
The Monobox from I Love Jewelry features one monogramed item monthly and two coordinating accessories. Being a southern girl I love monogramed things and being a newlywed I find this a nice way to stock up on items in my new-ish monogram. The July monobox featured a monogram Turkish towel, sunglasses and a bikini bag – it’s just a pouch that is plastic so you can put wet items in it. Here’s a look a the products:
I usually don’t buy these types of towels but I didn’t mind this one. It’s long enough to layout on a beach chair or the sand but I still prefer a fluffy terrycloth towel for drying off. The sunglasses are pretty decent – not the best quality but not bad – I’m always up for having an extra pair of sunglasses hanging around. The pouch is actually very roomy – I think it’s great for taking items you don’t want to get wet , like your phone, down to the pool or beach and it was roomy enough to fit my plus size swimsuit for traveling home. If you like these items but missed out on July I’ve noticed they typically have prior month’s box items on the website.
I love jewelry does not have the best customer service – they are very slow to respond to emails (took me a week to get a response when I received an automated message saying it would be 48 hours) ; and they send shipping notifications when orders are in queue to be produced not when they actually ship out but I have never not received my product nor have I have thought it was a bad product or bad value even if a particular box is not to my personal taste. Most monogramed item tend to be the interlocking script but they do occasionally change it up. Overall I am pleased enough with the products I receive and value to continue the service. Each box is $21.95 plus shipping and lately it seems like you can get the month’s box after it’s been revealed – August is a brown monogrammed purse with a pen and notepad.
