OMG Valentine’s Day is this week! That just kinda snuck up on me. Thank goodness my hubby made a reservation weeks ago, now I need to just figure out what to wear.

When I originally shot some Valentine looks I picked two tops that I thought were appropriate and mixed them with a few different skirts to show how you can get different looks mixing and matching.

First I wanted to mix red and pink but do so in a sophisticated manner without looking childish – I think by wearing something that just has accents of pink instead of a full on pink top it works, plus an off the shoulder look makes the outfit more sexy and mature instead of sweet.

But, I also did want to show this top in a more romantic way and I think the soft pink and soft velvet material of the skirt gives that look.

Next I mixed red and pink again and although I was worried how two solid colored pieces would look I think the deep red really compliments the blush of the pink well, plus I love the mixing of luxe fabrics here – lace and velvet.

I know the red lace top would be way to much with the red skirt so I decided to bring in a different type of rose coloring- this time in a rose gold skirt and again I think the colors play nicely with each other.

Unfortunately since I purchased the floral top months ago I can’t find it for sale anywhere but the lace top is still available and it comes in black as well. I did find some similar off the shoulder floral tops and truth be told I like some of them even better than mine.

If you don’t want to wear red and pink at all but still want to dress a little extra special I wore this green top and rose gold skirt for a recent date night and I’m still obsessing over how much I love the colors together. Both the top and skirt are from Society+ and you can save 10% if you use my code: Mandysue

Finally, even though my hair looks terrible I had to add this last look just because I think it’s so pretty and feminine and fun. I also got more compliments from stranger in this outfit than I ever have. The top is included in the tops above and the tutu is from Society+ . . . I’ll actually be posting a review of their tut skirts next week but I did want to share this look now so you have time to order before Valentine’s day.

Whether you’ll be celebrating the day with your sweet heart or galantine you’re sure to look fab in any of these looks. I’d love to know what you wind up wearing – tag me if you wear anything inspired by the looks I shared here. I think I’m going to have to post on my stories asking for opinion because honestly I just can’t decide which outfit to wear.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY Y’ALL!!!
