It wasn’t too long ago when I never wore t-shirts except to sleep – now I practically live in them on the weekends and I’ve been known to wear them to worn with a sweater (don’t side eye, my office is super casual). Maybe the older I get the more comfort is important to me, or maybe it’s just because I never loved a t-shirt before . . .but that all changed when I discovered Lauren James.
Lauren James is a Arkansas based company offering preppy, pretty women’s attire. The brand started with t-shirts and moved to outwear, dresses, accessories and beachwear – and while all of their stuff is awesome my heart belongs to their t-shirts which they call sweet tees. Everyone thinks I’m crazy when I talk about how great their tees are – until they wear one – the are SO SOFT!
Recently LJ expanded their collegiate collection – there’s 62 schools currently or soon to be offered so chances are whoever you’re a fan of they have it.

I love all these options because when going to games I can still wear something I consider to be cute but I’m keeping it casual and not being all extra. Plus, I still do sleep in tees – these just make it even more comfortable.
As far as sizing go – the tees are meant to have a loose fit – I’m wearing an XL in my sweater tee and I never wear an XL in anything, but I also don’t like baggy loose tees. If you want a loose fit get your regular size if you want a more fitted look go down one size.
