I came across this pink dress I just had to have it – it’s so fun and super flattering. To wear it now I’m wearing a nude tank and panty hose (yes, they are still a thing people) to keep add a light layer for warmth underneath. While I feel like in the spring and summer the loose style of the dress will be perfect I added a black belt and black heels to add some structure without taking away from the natural flounce of the dress.

My next item was something I picked up in Atlanta when I stopped by the Draper James store. I am SO excited that Draper James is officially size inclusive but I’ve had a feeling this was coming after the Eloquii collabs. I went into the store thinking there would be other dresses I liked more but this floral cotton number was just so cute on I had to have it. Right now I’m wearing with boots and a long sweater (you could also add tights if it’s really cold out) but once the weather warms up I’ll keep it simple with some wedges and bamboo bag.

I also have this Draper James dress I bought on sale last December. Since gingham is always in style for the warm weather months it was too good of a deal to pass up. Right now I’m wearing with heels and a blazer for not only warmth but also a little work friendly look but when the weather warms up I’ll let the dress stand out on its own.

Basically it all comes down to layers, of course not every spring outfit is going to look good layered up so it’s definitely something to play around with but I hope this post has given you some ideas to get you started.
