I’m sure you’ve noticed leopard print is having a moment right now. Actually, it’s been having a moment and that doesn’t look to be stopping anytime soon. As leopard continues its popularity I think it’s a great opportunity to mix it up and not wear the same thing over and over again so I’m sharing three leopard print styled looks.
The easiest way to style leopard print is with a neutral. Black is obvious because it’s in the print but a leopard print with black doesn’t have to be boring. I think a black belt is always a good idea to add some depth to an outfit but a black hat really elevates the look from being basic. I wore this look for a Saturday date night but you could ditch the hat and make this a perfectly professional leopard look.
My favorite way to style leopard is to treat it as a neutral and pair it with a bright color. In my opinion you can pair ANY color with a traditional leopard but since my skirt here is a coral I decided to stay in the same color family and match it with a bright pink sweater. I kept all my accessories neutral to allow my sweater to be the main pop of color. This is another great office look but I really think it would be great for a girls night or Sunday brunch.
I also love leopard print for print mixing. The key to a good print mix is picking colors that compliment not clash. I paired this Love tee with leopard for a fun Valentine look (check out my other Valentine outfit ideas here). The colors in this tee balance really well with coral tone of the skirt. I also took the print mix up a level by adding in some leopard print boots.
Leopard isn’t going out of style anytime soon so I’ll continue to play around with it. I hope this gives you some fresh ideas to make the most of the leopard print in your closet.
