I tend to wear lots of dresses and skirts but let’s be real – sometimes I really like a good pair of pants. Pants in a fun print make a great statement and can be super versatile; and when they are flowy and have elastic in the waist they are super comfortable to boot!
One thing you have to be careful with when wearing printed pants, especially in a wide flowy fit is that they can look a little bit like pajamas if paired with just a plain tee. I don’t care how casual your office is, no one should be going to work looking like they are wearing their pjs! So, my first priority when thinking how to style these pants was to make sure that I could find a look to wear to work.
I decided to stay in the same color family as the pants and picked a green cardigan to wear on top along with a white tee. Tucking in the white tee and pairing with heels keeps the look polished and professional.

I’m usually not a big fan of orange but I did want to play with the colors here and pull out the orange from the flowers. For a casual weekend look I ditched the heels in favor of neutral sandals and brightened up the look with a coral top.

This time of year we still have cool days so even though these pants are pretty light I knew I wanted to be able to wear with layers on the weekend too. Keeping the same base as my office look I switched the cardi for a denim jacket and added a fun hat for a casual and chic look. This is my favorite look with these pants and because my office is casual I ditched the hat and wore it this way to the office too.
