Charlotte Tilbury Face Review

Charlotte Tilbury Face Review

The past few months I’ve been leveling up my makeup game literally starting with the foundation. Years of breakouts, something I unfairly struggle with still at 35, has left my face a bit uneven and not as smooth as I would like. I heard a lot of hype about Charlotte Tilbury products but was initially nervous about the high price point. After three months of use I am very pleased and am sharing how I use these items as part of my makeup routine.

After moisturizer and primer I start with the Hollywood Flawless Filter and apply where I would apply highlighter but also under my eyes and across the lids because I have discolored skin around my eyes

I do my eye makeup before my foundation but I kept it very simple here to focus on the face products but here’s what it looks like blended before applying foundation.

I dap concealer over blemishes and under my eyes and then apply the Airbrush Flawless Foundation with a brush. I find this product goes a long way so I prefer to use a little at a time and add more if necessary. I then set with Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder. Here is my face after this step:

For a simple look like this one I will use a neutral lip and a light application of blush.

The Hollywood Flawless Filter gives a nice glow from within look so there’s no need to use a highlighter, although you could if you want a more glam makeup look. My skin doesn’t look perfect but I think this routine does a nice job of smoothing without being caked on or looking too “done up”. Here’s my face before and after so you can see the coverage from these products.

No makeup, no filter
Natural makeup look, no filter

Like I said, Charlotte Tilbury is a little pricey so I wanted to share a good deal going on this weekend. Let me know if you have any questions about my routine or the products I used. Shop my Charlotte Tilbury favorites here!
