My requirement for clothing is that it must be comfortable to wear at home but cute enough to wear outside the house. While we may be just saying good bye to winter soon enough the Memphis heat will be oppressive so I am a big fan of lightweight cotton clothing. The moment I saw this rainbow gingham dress from J.Crew I knew it was the kind of dress I could wear for spring and summer for years to come.
This dress is made with a lightweight seersucker material and is lined with a lightweight cotton from from the waist down. As a plus size woman I find J.Crew to run a little smaller than other brands I wear so I sized up to a 24; I find the fit to be roomy but not enough so that I would want a smaller size.

J.Crew has a lot of really cute items for spring and it was really hard to stick to my budget, lol! I did also grab a ruffle neck blouse and have my eye on a few other pieces.
