I’ve been going to the Florida panhandle beaches as long as I can remember. After years of vacationing in various areas along the emerald coast, when I was in the 2nd grade my parents bought a townhouse in Miramar Beach and we spent the next seven years going on a regular basis. But family dynamics changed and eventually the townhouse was sold. Miriamar Beach went from a quiet little strip of beach to a bustling hub. We vacationed on and off on 30-A, loving the charm of the pretty beach towns but hating that the only way to have a beach view was to rent a large mansion. And then Majestic Beach Towers 2-1703 came into our lives as the perfect Panama City Beach Condo. Fun fact: my very first Florida beach trip was at the Holiday Inn a few buildings down from MBT.
Instead of having to haul our beach stuff across the busy highway or staying some place where a car / golfcart is needed just to get to the beach we can roll out of bed and it’s right there as this Panama City Beach condo is right on the gulf. Typically when we go I spend the first hour of my day relaxing on the balcony with a cup of coffee in my pajamas. Heck, there are some days when I spend my entire day enjoying the beach from the balcony.
The Condo
With two bedrooms (one king bed, one bunk with a full on bottom and twin on top) two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, in unit laundry and floor to ceiling windows in the living room overlooking the beach this Panama City Beach condo has everything our family of four needs for a week to not feel crowded (the unit officially sleeps 7 as the living room has a sleeper sofa).
Majestic Beach Towers
Beyond the unit, Majestic Beach Towers has everything we could possibly want in a beach location – 5 pools (two indoor, one covered, one with water features for the kids and one with full sun exposure), 3 hot tubs, a pool side bar and grill, a convenience store, movie theater, gym, tennis courts and ample parking in a safe and secure garage.
Panama City Beach
Of course, the best thing about staying in a Panama City Beach condo is the Beach! Twenty six miles of white sand and clear emerald water that rivals the Caribbean. After spending the day with our toes in the sand and enjoying the gentle waves we love to catch the sunset before heading out to dinner. Being on the 17th floor allows for some spectacular views!
At night we typically go out for dinner to a mix of higher end and casual places throughout the week. Two of the nicest restaurants in Panama City Beach – Firefly (my favorite – get the stuffed filet) and Salt Water Grill (Shaun’s favorite) are within walking distance. Some of our other favorite spots are Dat Cajun Place, C-Level, Triple J, and Dee’s Hangout (walking distance).
Around Panama City Beach
If we need a break from the beach we’ll head over to Pier Park which has a mix of restaurants, shops and activities, rent a boat or kayak, head out to a nearby sight – we loved Ponce De Leon Springs, or take a drive along the coast. We’ll usually venture over to the outlets in Destin (about an hour’s drive) once during the week and we usually go out to dinner once on 30-A (Rosemary Beach is a 1/2 hour away) – our favorite date night spot is La Crema in Rosemary
Going to the Panama City Beach condo is the perfect way to feel rested and rejuvenated. Now that my Dad, Sister and I live in three different cities Majestic Beach Towers 2-1703 has become our gathering spot to spend family time together. The memories we have already made have been wonderful and we look forward to making more in the years to come.
To make you own memories and enjoy a fabulous trip to Panama City Beach check out Majestic Beach Towers 2-1703’s availability here. The beaches in Panama City Beach are just as beautiful as other Emerald Coast locations but the rates are more affordable! I hope you will enjoy this Panama City Beach condo as much as we do.
