Well it’s finally here! Yesterday afternoon Victoria Beckham had a tea themed event (sigh, so jealous) to show off the full collection for her collaboration with Target. This article from Vouge shows most of the pieces in the collection.
As I suspected, I am going to have a VERY hard time deciding what to get. Luckily the price points are wonderful – most ladies dresses are $35 and separates are $28. Most of my predictions held true – flounce skirts, bell sleeve tops, one of the dresses is pretty dead on for the waist emphasizing top I put in my last post. Also, like I predicted all the models are wearing strappy shoes with the looks. I am surprised that the pieces feel more trendy than I feel like Victoria Beckham is known for being but I guess it’s one way to distinguish this collab from her ready – to – wear and VVB lines. There’s also lots of scallop trims which I did not predict but I should have.
Some of the pieces are too busy or too trendy in my opinion but there’s still plenty of items that have peaked my interest. The kids items are SO GREAT but since I don’t have a daughter to buy for I’m not going to cover those pieces here, if I did thought she would have all of it.
Here’s some of the items on my wish list:
This dress is at the top of my list – I love the flounce skirt, hot pink color and that it has sleeves.
Closer runner up for the top spot on my list is this skirt – it just looks so fun!
You can never go wrong in black and white
flouce skirt and scallops – yes please!
hot pink pants – I bet I could pair these with more in my closet than you might think.
this dress is practically identical to a top I had in my post guessing what the collection would be like.
I love this scallop top
I think these pants might be too form fitting for me but I do want to try the peplum top
I love the twist on plain black pants here and apparently this is Victoria’s favorite look from the collection and what she posted on instagram announcing the collection lookbook. Of course, she would look great in a potato sack but I don’t think I can pull off the top and pants together.
Here’s the look on VB:
Looks like it will be another Target collab all-nighter for me because I do not want to miss this collection.
