With three months to go before the wedding I’m realizing I need to settle on a skin care routine – the last thing I need is introducing something new and getting a bad reaction right before the most photographed day of my life which lead me to purchase the Brides edition of the Allure Beauty Box.
I debated for over a month if it was worth the $49.99 cost to me but I realized it contained several products I was looking to get anyway I decided to go ahead and take the plunge.
Here’s my unboxing:
Not everything is a home run or stuff I would have bought but overall it’s good stuff.
I’m also starting to focus on my “bridal look” so I decided to do my makeup just using products in the Brides box and products in the Julep “I Totally Do” box.
Here’s the unboxing of that one (which by the way was free for subscribing for at least one month)
Here’s my finished look:
I used the smashbox photo finish primer (brides box) , my own foundation, lo behold eyeshadow duo (julep) Mally eyeliner (brides box) , pink peony cheek stick (julep) twirl lipstick (julep) and lipgloss (julep but I forget the name). I decided to stick on my sephora false lashes as well.
When my nails chip in a few days I’ll use the Lauren B nail set and post pics. The box came with eye cream so with luck those dark shadows will start to disappear.
