I have a few posts I’m working on right now but they’re a little more serious in their nature so I want to focus on some fun little happiness to start off the four day week!
Over the weekend I was in major on the prowl for craft supplies mode. Do y’all watch Elizabeth Modero on YouTube? If not you really should, I have a total girl crush on her; the channel is Modero Green Moments. But anyway, she’s been talking a lot latley about her Erin Condren planner and it got me thinking that I have a few goals I’d like to focus on and a planner might be a great way to keep me on track. After spending waaaay too much time debating my options I decided a similar but more customizable planner was more for me and I ordered a Plum Paper Designs planner. But of course, I need nice pens, washi tape, stickers, labels and fun stuff to go with it. In case I’ve never said this before it’s important you know I have a MAJOR love for stationary products and craft supplies.
So after placing some Etsy orders I left the house to satisfy my I need pretty things right now urges.
It started with felt tipped pens at Sam’s Club. I LOVE felt tipped pens! Regular pens, especially fine tip ones make me feel like I’m scratching paper instead of writing.
I then moved onto Michaels where I got an assortment of goodies
Including some Betsy Johnson stuff
Apparently I have been living under a rock because there have been cute Betsy Johnson supplies at Michaels all of 2015, and it’s all $5 or less!!! I love novelty pens so these two really made my heart flutter.
I also grabbed this cute macaroon coin purse
Which it turns out is perfect for carrying a few essential oils bottle in my purse:
I have two15ml and one 5ml but it could easily hold four of the 5ml bottles.
Based on my Facebook you’d probably think latley I’ve been obsessing over the Lilly for Target collection and / or essential oils. And for the most part you would be right. I mean, I obviously work but I try to keep that off social media. Plus you know, being an adult can be expensive and blogging about car repairs just isn’t fun.
In the next week or so I’ll have some fun goodies coming in to share and I’ll talk more about some of the homemade beauty products I’ve gotten into.
Ps: 2015 is just flying by! It’s now officially wear white season and summer, wow! Happy Start of Summer y’all!
