I’m so excited to be pursuing motherhood but it’s been such a complicated emotional journey. I bought this dress a few months ago when I was feeling pretty low looking at all the spring 2021 mommas post their maternity pics, bump updates, nursery decorations and baby showers. I realized that not only was I missing out on those things now, some of them are things I might never experience and I just wanted something that would make me feel beautifully feminine too.
I take lots of pictures in pretty dresses but they’re usually “for the gram” I decided to take some pictures just for me, to remind myself that pregnancy loss does not me less of a woman, that there is beauty among the pain, and that while my journey will look different it will make me no less of a mother.
While these pics were “just for me” I’m sharing them on the blog as a reminder to every woman that you are worthy of whatever you may feel like you aren’t right now. This dress is long sold out but I hope if you need it you find something that makes you feel just as much of a goddess.
