Wine Glass Writer Around the House

I might have mentioned once or twice that in our house we love wine. Drinking a good glass of wine is great but to me it’s just as much about the experience – I love going to wineries and walking through the vineyards , putting out pretty crystal glasses on the dining table for guests and collecting fun accessories. When I first saw Wine Glass Writer I figured it would be a fun way to keep up with who’s glass is who’s when we have parties and since they’re a fun wine accessory I needed them, right?

When my package arrived I immediately got out a few glasses and started practicing making my name as pretty as possible on my wine glasses and truth be told it was pretty fun. Since a wine glass is a pretty small surface I started looking around the house for other surfaces to write on and it turns out Wine Glass Writer is quite versatile. The best part about Wine Glass Writer though isn’t all the fun you can have with it – although we’ll get to that – I love that they were developed by a mother daughter team – Jeannine and Renee! Since I love using Wine Glass Writer and I especially love using it when we’re celebrating I’ve teamed up with this fab mother / daughter duo to help you celebrate the Mom in your life with a GIVEAWAY! But first, let me show you some of the fun ways I’ve been using Wine Glass Writer around the house.

When we have friends over for an event they tend to be pretty informal affairs – the kind of come on in and make yourself at home kind of events – so I’m not always available to greet each guest at the door. Writing a note on the glass is a fun way to let people know there’s no need to ring the doorbell and wait to be let in but looks a lot nicer than a post-it note on the door – plus it won’t fall off and become litter.

When entertaining my goal is always to have the drinks ready to go so that even if I’m finishing up details in the kitchen (which I often am truth be told) everyone can go ahead and have a drink and get the party started. Instead of just setting out the Wine Glass Writer I like to leave my guests a little note so they know how to use the Wine Glass Writer. Even when not entertaining I like to write fun sayings on a picture frame for a cute home accent – and it can be changed whenever I want without building more clutter.

While I only like wine, Shaun likes beer as well and actually brews some of his own – which of course he loves letting people sample and tell him what they thinks. Since his homebrew gets put into recycled bottles Wine Glass Writer has been the perfect solution to identifying which beer is in each bottle and then we can just wash them and re-label again without having to peel off messy stickers.

Because the writing stays put once dry (it takes 60 seconds to fully dry) but washes off so easily I don’t mind using Wine Glass Writer on my nice crystal glasses. In the past I have had a collection of fun celebration glasses but while I prefer a matched collection now I still like a little fun and whimsy now and then – this gives me the best of both worlds because I can take one of the glasses I already own and decorate it however I want without building up a collection of individual celebration glasses.

Of course, before there can be any celebrations there’s some behind the scenes work and planning that goes into hosting a great event. I have found that using the glass door on our microwave is a convenient place for me to jot down items we’re running low on or things I need for the week without having to pull out my phone while in the middle of cooking or going through paper lists that I’ll inevitably lose.

Speaking of cooking, I’ve been trying to eat healthier lately and I’m still trying to get the portions right. Since Wine Glass Writer is non-toxic I’ll just draw a quick grid on my plate to remind myself to not take too much carbs (because I love some carbs) and get enough veggies. Typically I just draw the lines, but I wanted to show y’all an example of what I would put on my plate.

As you can see, I went well outside the box with my Wine Glass Writer. What I thought would be something cute and fun to have has turned into something pretty darn useful. If you’ve environmental conscious, and really we all should be, I think you’ll especially enjoy how Wine Glass Writer can help reduce waste – this was not at all something I set out to do in my home, it just happened.

Of all the ways to use Wine Glass Writer my favorite has to be giving as a gift (pairing with a bottle of wine isn’t necessary but hey it doesn’t hurt). So here’s the fun part – head over to my Instagram and enter to win some for a special mom in your life (or for yourself too, I won’t tell). You can also use the code everyonewins10 for 10% off your purchase.
