Oh y’all what a week – and it’s only Tuesday! The first week of the month is always my busiest at work so lets just say I’m looking forward to some much needed chill fun this weekend and I plan on heading to the Southern Women’s Show Memphis. The Southern Women’s Show is always fun because there’s more than just shopping at fabulous vendors, Not that I don’t like to shop of course!
This year’s event features celebrity designer Vern Yip, celebrity nail artist Naja Rickette and Garrett Miller from Siesta Key on MTV. There will also be fashion shows, cooking presentations, makeovers, a mother – daughter look alike contest and more. Be sure to check out the website for all the details because there’s just too much to list here.
Friday night will be the girls night out event which includes wine and cake – yes please! I want to wear something cute but also be comfortable so I plan on adding a little fun to my little black dress with a denim jacket, boots and some cowhide accessories – this is a really easy office to going out look.
For general shopping I’m all about the jeans and a cute top look with flats of course for all that walking around the show. I paired my favorite shopper tote with my looks but do keep in mind that attendees will get a shopper tote at the door so there’s no need to hunt one down if you don’t have it handy.
